Industrial Floor at Farsons New Warehouse

Last February 2007 Attard Bros was awarded a contract by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc to cast 9000 square metres of Grade 35 concrete industrial floor for the new warehouse at the brewery in Mriehel.  The works started as scheduled at the end of February.

For this project Attard Bros decided to strengthen its resources by investing in new machines for the casting and finishing of the floor and in updating and upgrading the skills of the workmen involved by hiring the services of an expert from the U.K. who’s task was to show latest methods how to achieve a high grade finish with the new machines.  The training also included ways to achieve various types of surface finish.

The company wishes to thank all the employees involved in the project including those involved in the supply of the concrete from Blue Mix –a subsidiary of Attard Bros – for a job well done, this especially when one considers that the concrete pours sometimes started as early as 3:00 in the morning.
